Liz Albritton
Director of Rehabilitation
Licensed to practice in the State of Texas as well as credentialed by the American Speech and Hearing Association, Liz has been honing her skills since earning her master’s degree in communication disorders from The University of Texas at Austin. She nurtured her passion for this work in her role as Director of Rehabilitation in Skilled Nursing and treats residents with the goal of returning home so they can live their best life. Liz and her husband have three adult children and recently celebrated the birth of their first grandchild. When she is not reading, painting or gardening, Liz enjoys spending time with friends and relaxing with family along the Guadalupe River or on Lake Travis.

Lakendra Baines
Human Resources Generalist
With extensive experience in healthcare accounting and human resources, Kendra joined the Holly Hall team in 2021. She earned associate and bachelor degrees in communications and holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. In her position, Kendra is responsible for recruiting and retaining employees, planning events and serving as a resource for the Holly Hall staff. In addition to being a wife and mom to three children and two English Bulldogs, she is a sports lover and feels very blessed to serve in her role at Holly Hall.

Liliana Burnett
Director of Wellness
A Holly Hall employee since 2019, Liliana has been involved with health and wellness for more than 15 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston and is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Wellness and Health Coach. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities such as an environment health specialist, nutritionist and in corporate and community wellness positions. She leads by example and believes that being proactive and by promoting a healthy lifestyle people can achieve overall wellness. Liliana is the proud mother of two boys, she loves to exercise, cook, travel, read and enjoys fine cuisine and wine.

Autumn Clouse
Director of Finance
A Certified Healthcare Financial Professional, Autumn was named Director of Finance at Holly Hall in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. Her strong financial experience with a variety of healthcare organizations, coupled with her compassion for residents makes for a great fit within the organization. Autumn has two sons and enjoys puzzles and her cats.

Walter Hays
Director of Facility Maintenance and Security
One of Holly Hall’s most tenured employees, Walter has been with the organization for nearly 30 years. During that time, he has progressively advanced in the department and now leads the team in providing the best customer service possible. He is passionate about helping others which motivates him in providing quality work. Walter holds certificates related to facilities management, generator emergency power supplies in long term care facilities, life safety code survey review and City of Houston boiler operator permit. Married with three children and three grandchildren, Walter enjoys watching football and drag racing.

Wendy Olawale, RN, MSN
Director of Nursing
Wendy began her career at Holly Hall in 2019 and has served in clinical roles her entire adult life. She was born in Zimbabwe and immigrated to the United States when she was just 13 years old. She began working as a CNA while in school to obtain her nursing degree, and has been a lifelong learner ever since, subsequently earning a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration/Leadership. Wendy loves taking care of people and making a lasting difference in their lives. for 14 years, Wendy has three children and enjoys traveling and reading when she has time.

Tomeka Thomas, LVN
Director of Assisted Living
Tomeka has worked in the health care industry for more than 20 years, with experience in long term care, caring for individuals with dementia and in home health care. As a seasoned Assisted Living Director, she is passionate about the holistic approach when caring for the individual. In addition to being a wife and mother to three daughters and three sons, she is also passionate about helping other women learn to love and embrace their inner beauty. Outside of the office, Tomeka enjoys high school and college football with her sons, extracurricular activities with her children, and supporting her husband’s nonprofit youth foundation.

Amy Ward
Senior Director of Communications
Amy has held several leadership positions at Holly Hall since 2012. Equality is her central core value, which is why she has devoted her career to nonprofits. Before joining Holly Hall, she left her mark on the community through education and visual arts organizations. Amy is a proud native Houstonian and has an economics degree from Texas A&M University. In her downtime, Amy volunteers with the Junior League of Houston, is pasionate about her health and fitness, and can be found cheering on her favorite soccer team, Real Madrid.

Brooke Wood
Administrator
With a background in social work, specifically family and protective services, Brooke has been in long-term care for more than a decade. She earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University and has been with Holly Hall since 2019. Brooke understands that navigating the senior living and long term care world can sometimes be overwhelming. She enjoys helping both residents and families make the process as smooth as possible. Married with two children, four dogs and a cat, Brooke spends her spare time reading and RVing with her family.
