2021 SILVER TEA
We are pleased to announce the 2021 Silver Tea was a virtual home tour of Jan and Tyson Greer‘s historic 125-year-old four-story Victorian home in the Heights! Our virtual tour gives you a glimpse into their home and share details about its rich history and their most treasured pieces and Christmas traditions.
HONOREES
We are pleased to honor Preservation Houston for its dedication to sustaining Houston’s history throughout the city. This year’s Legacy Honoree is the Houstoun Family who has served and provided leadership to Holly Hall for generations.
WATCH THE TOUR
After receiving positive feedback from last year’s virtual format and keeping the safety of everyone a priority, the 2021 Tea was held virtually on Wednesday, December 15th at 1:30 pm. We hope you enjoy this year’s tour!
RESIDENT SUBSIDY PROGRAM
Proceeds from the Silver Tea benefit our Resident Subsidy Program, which is used to cover the “cost of care” for those residents who, over time, are no longer able to do so themselves. Holly Hall is dependent on the generosity of friends like you to provide such care. A gift to the Silver Tea will provide a resident the peace-of-mind that they may continue living in their home despite their individual circumstances.
BECOME AN UNDERWRITER
Underwriters play an important role that ensures funds are raised for the Resident Subsidy Program. Underwriters and donors giving $1,000 or more will receive a tea setting to be delivered to their home in advance of December 15. Underwriters and donors giving $100 or more will receive a link to the virtual home tour.
We appreciate all of our underwriters who gave through November 29, 2021.

2020 SILVER TEA
Last year’s time-honored event was a virtual tea and home tour featured the unique home of Anne Whitlock and Michael Skelly. Anne and Michael renovated Houston’s decommissioned Fire Station No. 2, built in 1910, and it is now their main residence. Our virtual tour gave participants a rare glimpse into the home and its history as a fire station. Watch the tour below!
